Sustainability is part of our identity – and a prerequisite for developing a sustainable society over time.

Cynca operates in industries facing necessary transformation. We take that responsibility seriously – by reducing our own climate impact, creating safe workplaces and contributing to a more equal industry. We focus on three areas where we have the greatest impact: work environment, gender equality and climate. Our targets extend to 2045, with interim targets for 2030.

Work environment

Within Cynca’s operations, there are tasks that are physically demanding or otherwise expose employees to increased risk. Work environment issues are therefore a top priority and we work towards a zero vision for accidents within the group.

Target

2030- Downward trend in comparable LTM LTIFR (Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate).

2045- No serious workplace accidents.

Gender equality

It is central to Cynca’s success that all competence is utilised and that Cynca is an equal and inclusive workplace. Cynca operates in sectors where there is a general need for greater gender equality – something we actively want to contribute to.

Target

2030- Gender distribution within the range of 35–65% in leadership positions.

2045- Gender distribution within the range of 40–60% in leadership positions.

Climate

Climate is one of the greatest challenges of our time and Cynca operates in sectors that currently contribute significant climate emissions. It is therefore necessary for Cynca to act to reduce its negative climate impact.
